The Naked Truth   Rating - Simply Amazing! I have been a Mac user since I was a 3 year old girl on a 128k Mac back in '87. These days, I still use Macs, but now I'm on an 800mhz iMac G4. This book is the most amazingly revealing look at the Macintosh user fanbase: Apple's most devoted. Not only that: It gives me much-needed ammunition for targetting unruly PC users. A must have for anybody who is a believer in Apple! Rating - Scott Kelby documents all the Mac innovations and Microsoft copies. The best feature of the book is that it lists all the Mac innovations starting with the graphical user interface in 1984, and all the features copied by Microsoft because MS copied all the Mac breakthroughs. Most PC people don't even know that Windows is just a crude copy of the Mac operating system. Scott Kelby's book lists each and every one and explains what was copied by Microsoft. And it's really a funny book, too. He knows how to tell a story ... Kelby comes up with clever and accurate metaphores, and at the same time goes back in history and why it is that computer makers with an enormous market share have gone out of business, but not Apple. This book was hilarious to read! I absolutely loved it. Scott Kelby used a lot of personality and humor to make this book great. As all of my friends use PCs, it was helpful in giving me information to get back at their persistant "Windows systems are easier and better than stinky Macintosh!!" attempts.
