I teach 3rd grade and will use this to review bar graphs at the beginning of next year. The students can usually relate to a lemonade stand. I actually purchased it to learn about starting up businesses for a writing prompt, but I can use it to enhance both skills.

My daughter, five, loves the book. She enjoyed the story and loved the beautiful illustrations which helped her to understand how bar graphs worked. I think it's a great book and worth buying.

I used this book to introduce bar graphs to my second grade class. The lemonade sells for 25 cents a cup so it also made an excellent lesson on money and place value. The children really enjoyed the illustrations.

I used this book with a third grade class to help with teaching bar graphs. The kids loved it, and the illustrations are great! The end of the book supplies the teacher with different activities to try.
