This book is an essential read for anyone whom is interested in learning how to have a positive affect on the fight against terrorism. Greg Mortenson and David Relin tell of an extraordinary adventure to bring education and understanding to a population that has been overlooked and often misunderstood.

My book club selected this book and I loved it because it shows what a difference ONE person CAN make. Especially in these times of uncertainy. My husband also read the book and was equally impressed with the integrity and tenacity of the author. We are both great believers in education as the prime method to help others as well as promote peace. We hope others will read the book and see the potential for solving a lot of the world's problems. The next step, hopefully, is to get involved - either locally, nationally, or internationally.
