Rating  - Good phrasebook
This phrasebook is small but has a lot of good content packed between its covers. This will be one of the books I carry with me on my trip to Mexico. It is divided into useful sections such as customs, baggage, at the hotel, at the restaurant, sightseeing, shopping, dentist, telephoning, and many more. It is quick to use and to understand.
Rating  - Works Better with Behind the Wheel Spanish
I am pleased with my purchase of Easy Spanish Phrase Book. The book contains useful categories such as Food, Customs, and so forth, each which contain a number of useful sentences. These sentences are given first in English, then in Spanish, and finally a phonetic pronunciation guide is provided. Very useful and practical, however......
However good the book may be, it is impossible to learn to speak Spanish without hearing it and without a good method and structure from which to learn.
I am using Behind the Wheel Spanish 8 CDs and book with great success. Not only am I learning to speak the language, I am learning to create my own original sentences.
Used together, Easy Spanish is a great companion to Behind the Wheel Spanish.
Rating - Concise and helpful
This small book is useful for many everyday situations. It's handy and easy to reference. There isn't much other information in it. The dictionary is very limited, so you would still need that to make your way around.
Rating - Helpful and brief
This book is meant to cover some of the most common interactions you might have with a Spanish speaker, especially when traveling. It gives you both sides of the conversation, which is nice. Very basic book.
