What a novel idea, a picture book of birds which not only informs the reader about each one BUT also has the sounds made by each bird with some giving both the male and female tune. This is not the run of the mill children's book but a very adult reference that should not be missing in any home where birding is of interest. This particular publication represents those birds found in the Eastern and Central United States but there are also books for other areas.
