Rating  - Liked it (even with a few negatives)
I received the Life Application Study Bible, New Living Translation, Large Print, Hard cover edition and am pleased with it.
I heard others in study groups read from the NLT. I liked what I heard. So I wanted one. Having been on this planet since 1933, I wanted some-
thing with large enough print to read, but not need a wheelbarrow to
transport. This was the answer (or the ideal compromise) on those
requirements.
I liked the print size. The size and weight is good. But the paper
is so thin that I can see the print on the other side, so it is sometimes
distracting. Also, the paper was somewhat glossy, causing a reflective
glare from the reading lamp. The weight of the book is not a problem.
All-in-all, I like it; I'm keeping it; and I'm currently using it as my
everyday reading and study Bible. (I probably own 20 other Bibles, but
this is the one I am currently using.)
Rating - Excellent choice for a study Bible
I greatly enjoy the Life Application Study Bible. It is full of notes and facts that enhance the study of scripture. So many of the footnotes explain those "so why did he do that" questions that arise while studying scripture. Plus it offers insight into the persons of the Bible. I recommend it to anyone. Plus I greatly appreciate the large print, my eyes aren't as sharp as they once were.
Rating - Great Bible
I love this Bible. It is easy to understand and easy to read. I have astigmatism and have a hard time reading small print. They have finally made a study bible with giant print.
Rating - Life Application Bible - Large Print
I love this bible. It is full of historical information as well as examples of how scripture applies to everyday life. I highly recommend this bible. I have the Living version.
