Recently, however, I started getting sound dropouts in one ear and now only get sound in one ear. Very disappointing! Giving 2 stars instead of 1 since I got some use out of them, but still... Rating - great for running I have small ears, so anything that is meant to go in your ears hurts after a bit. These have been great for me, for running. I can hear the street noise (for safety) and they are secure and comfortable. They fold up nicely and have lasted for almost a year so far with no signs of trouble. Rating - the successor to the 820 I have both, the old white 820 and the new 8200..... differences: old: more premium plastic better build quality better for biking during sunny days (white reflects heat) new: cheaper plastic better, tighter fit same great sound as the 820 the old white 820s headband was too large (i have a larger head), so the fit wasn't tight and you lost some bass as a result. ... I can't use the regular iPod ear phones as they just fall out of my ears, so these are great. The only thing that I would change about these is where the wire exits.
